Police logo design - need recommendations

Creating a logo for our local neighborhood watch group. Found Namecheap's police logo maker at https://www.namecheap.com/logo-maker/ideas/police-logos/ and tried it out. Got some decent badge-style templates which is nice, but honestly they all look pretty similar and generic. Customization options are kinda limited too. Also it's not actually free like I thought - gotta pay to download. Works okay for quick placeholder but probably need real designer for official use. Anyone used better alternatives for law enforcement style logos?
